| the heating is not on in the house at the moment there are only about 4 hot spots in the living room and kitchen so i know where to keep looking the viv is still on the floor just hope he is still in the house as its cold at night.i haveent tryed flour yet mite try that and the bag/paper thing tonight and traps is there anything els i can try?? i think he got out the vent at the back that the only place i can see that he could of gone.. going to pop to the shop to get more redbull i think.... will keep you al upto date |

This may sound totally daft but if you still think he may be in the same room n your gonna stay up all night you could try n put a candle on a raised steady surface on the floor as snakes are attracted to heat source n see in infra red. if you do decide to try this please be fire cautious. You could wright a book on safe ways but ill vote for you having common sence good luck

| he may have wondered to the cold but they dont like it n would try in locate heat somewhere close i heard that snakes movement drastically reduces if the body temp drops. i would personllay check everywhere within say 20 ft radius of where he escaped note down where you have done an indepth check i.e. leave no hair unturned. i really dont think he will be ouside. Keep us posted, we checked for days when owers wnt missing both turned up withtin 3-4 ft of the viv. good luck i'll keep my fimgers crossed |

| ok all set i have 3 mice out 5 bags around the room hes viv on the floor flour in the door way and 3 candles out as well. also some hides he mite go in to at night. if he moves in the room i should find him. fingers crossed xxx |

hi fell asleep not to happy with myself at all. i think he has been out as a mouse has gone missing and there looks as if there has been some movement in the flour. we 100% know the dogs didnt get the mouse so it must of been him unless i had it in my sleep. i am so gutted i missed him but now i know he is in the house so a bit happer that he is safe and well. just waiting for my wife to take the kids out so i can start looking around the living room kitchen again.... will keep you upto date as the day go's on.. thanks for your help so far guys. its been nice to have you all to talk to and have all your input...
if he has hed the mouse he will need heat the only place in the kitchen with heat is the fridge and i have looked there with no joy. i have also looked at all the hotspots in the living room so far nothing there as well. where in the kitchen do you think i should look or just look every where... |

| look everywhere he could have got into- everywhere! down the back of radiators, the fridge, oven etc, aswell as all cupboards and drawers in every room. good luck! |

| yeh check every nook n cranny to be honest its abit like trying to find a needle in a hay stak. As he has eating he will prob go somewhere to digest propably the same place he has beeen hiding. Good luck! |

| Hey Bilbo, About two weeks ago i had my little hatchling escape. I searched everywhere in the house, turned the place upside down looking for her. Set out all the recommended traps, stayed up all night two nights in a row and still no sign. However just over a week after she disappeared she turned up in the garden and was absolutely fine. So just keep looking and dont give up hope. Like the others on here are saying, check everywhere. no matter how silly a hiding place it seems (i was checking inside things like dvd boxs even though it would have been near enough impossible for her to get in there, its still worth checking everywhere). Shake out clothes before you put them in the washer and keep trying with all the traps. But most importantly dont give up hope. Good luck mate. I really hope you find him. i have my fingers crossed for you! |

reckon he will stay where he is to digest his meal unless he is a greedy corn like my herbie.good news is at least he is still around. hope u find out where he is hiding soon  |
