| Stops drafts (keeps heat in), and stops any fluids from the snake or spilt water bowl or sumit getting into joints and ruining your timber and you viv. Well thats why I sealed mine lol, there may be more to it than that ;) |

I'm not sure if adhesive glue is a good idea in snakes, due to the fumes

Hard as nails is fine tryme. When you seal the viv with aquarium sealant just go round the glass runners as well |

Ok I got the vents on, gonna need to seal em up on the inside round the edges as well me thinks.
