| Yes offer him a pinky but i would leave him a week before offering food so that he settles and I wouldn't handle him either for a week. I feed mine every 7 days and not had a problem with them striking at me. They have both been very well behaved. Calm before the storm maybe. |

I second Red in saying to leave him for the week before feeding him. It won't harm him going a little longer feed wise,and theres less chance of a regurge if he's had the whole week to settle in.
As for getting strikey,I've not come across that of yet and I've had Loki nearly 3 months now. Just gaged it by his size and growth.

| Thanks for the advice, I experienced a bit of striking with my old snake, but that was a King snake, which after getting it, I was told probably wasn't the best one to start off with. |
