Yay,the 7 day settling in period was finally up today
I got a quick hold and piccie of Falcor before he had his first feed. The kids were over the moon as its the first time they've got a proper look at him.
Realised how small he is when I saw the size of the bump that the pinkie left in him,the lil titch

At last I've got hold of him,God its been a long week!

On its way down

Got so excited I forgot to turn the scales on.....Doh!!

Lumpy!

Full up now,thanks mum

Cheers guys
I'm chuffed to have the first feed out of the way. Its something I look forward to but get nervous about on the first one which is why I didn't take any pics till the pinkie was on its way down!

Thanks peeps I'm smitten with him,he's such a confident little boy
Glad the feed went well with the hogg island boa went well mikeyd. Will have to google them, its one snake I've not seen I think! Such a relief though isn't it,even if you know they've been feeding well prior its that first feed with yourself thats so nerveracking!

Oh believe me Stotty,if this was my house and I had free reign it would be full of snakes in no time! I'm lucky enough to have my dad and aunt as landlords thank God as otherwise I wouldn't be allowed pets
Sounds like you've loads of room for more,if I was your mum I'd let you have another You must get tempted all the time working in a pet shop?!

thats the downfall of working in the shop, you see every hatchling and you really really want all of them xD and you also see other reptiles part from snakes that you want such as cresties and beardies

Eeek, its good but bad all in one go!! I've not had cresties (although I've recently found out about them and they are oh so cute!) Owned beardies though and can definitely recommend them. I had a pair and the male was such a character, miss him a lot
