I still have a non-feeding hatchling after trying everything. Before trying force feeding, i want to try a live pinkie. I live in West Cornwall. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one? Martin

Someone on here said that they could get some the other day, but I've never seen them.

What other methods have you tried? - Have you tried chick thighs, apparently they work wonders.

have you tried the standard 'braining' yet? or just squshing it a bit so it has lovely warm guts in front of it?

get 2 mice and breed your own, or have a discrete word with a rep shop owner, cause some do breed their own mice

1 rosy rat x
3 royals

1 publean milk
1 yemen chameleon

Isn't it illegal to feed live prey in England?

Actually it's not illegal unless you do it for public entertainment or cause unnecessary suffering, stole this from BE's previous post on another topic, hope he doesn't mind.

This is quoted from British Parlements resources site.

Currently under the 1911 Act it is not illegal to feed a live vertebrate to another unless you cause it unnecessary suffering, so that would have to be the result of a court case and the judge would have to make a decision.

No crueler than trapping mice in mouse traps, at least it's natural and the mouse didn't die for nothing. Although saying that I don't think i'd be able to watch it and i would feel a bit guilty, so i get your point.

I wouldn't do it anyway, have you watched some of those awful videos on You Tube? Live prey makes an awful niose when it's being constricted to death

Plus, once on live, it's hard to get them on frozen again

That's what they want you to think!

Really, they are bringing you these rotting carcuses in the hope that you will catch a anti-biotic resistant disease from it and die!

They want to take over the world and will stop at nothing to erase the human population!

Look what happened to the Egyptians- cats had them worshipping them like Gods. Sly they are!
