Ha ha thing is i was too soft if someone brought a sick animal back the other workers would "snap their necks" well i wouldnt let them if i was there and i would use my own cash to treat them!!!
i hate that shop!! the boss knows naff all about animals and neither do half of the staff!!!! well apart from a few of them!!!

Nova, Sorry to read this and to bring it back to the top, but what did you do with the snake after?

It is always worth placing the snake in the freezer with as few bends in the body as possible.
This way, you can keep the snake and book it in for an autopsy with a true rep vet.
That way, you know for sure the cause of death and what went wrong, lessons to be learned etc; and if you ever claimed against the vet or shop, you have the cause of death and the snake.
Higher value keepers would do just that, although any snake or pet is a high value to its owner.

If it is any consolation, and looking at the pics, i do not think that that was a parasite.
It looks more like the internal organs of the snake and food in its belly.
It is common in Amels and snows, but not always expected to be seen.
It soon goes though, as the skin thickens.

Hope that helps, but clearly too late to make a difference.
