sorry for your loss nova, i think you should report the shop. vets tend to work under a code of ethics and so will treat all animals big, small, slimmy or slithery. im sure there intention was never to harm your snake.

I may have missed it in the 11 pages, but what did the shop do wrong?

Did they knowingly sell you a sick corn, or has the parasite grown since you got it?

sorry to hear about the snakes, its sad when a pet dies, you have done right complaining about the shop!! ive worked in a few pet shops and if we ever got in any dodgy/ill animals/reps wed get the breeder to take them back! so if the snake had the parasite in when you bought it surley the shop would have known as they are meant to check the animals as they come in!!!

heya beenie, I bought Spruce from one of the shops you worked in and within 48 hours he'd developed symptoms of an RI (respiratory infection) So i took him to the specialist exotic vets at Strensall and they said (after xrays and scoping him) it looked to have been going on for a long time. I went to the back to said shop who just offered to take him back but as I really liked him I decided to keep him and keep my mouth shut.
