I know that a few people have 'rescued' corns and it is something that i would like to do one day.

Im getting my viv stack sorted this year and I've got my little viv room coming along nicely so it is something that i would have the ability to do.

I think it would be nice to take on an Adult that needs a home, maybe isnt feeding etc, and get it back to full health.

Are there rescue centres for Snakes around the country? Or do the RSPCA let them go to new homes if they find them? etc.

Thanks

Gaz

The RSPCA do have a reptile rehoming centre. I think it's Brighton but you could check on the internet.
What a great idea. Good for you.

Have already said this elsewhere Gaz but think it is worth repeating - I think the idea of you taking on a rescue corn is a fantastic one. It is so sad that reps find themselves either abandoned or taken away because of bad treatment (and we all know there is too much of that around ).....it would be a very lucky corn to find a new home with you.

You have learnt so much since you first got Stella and you are the sort of person who knows that there is always more to learn, you have the opportunity to do this with your new viv room and you also know you have the support of the forum to help you deal with anything that you may take on.

Go for it....you are perfect for the challenge.

(must admit I loved the look of that first cali king.....and I thought I was a corn-only woman ).

I just knew we would all click on the link to look and see what the RSPCA had for rehoming! What a predictable lot we are !!!!

Preloved has a lot of snakies that need new homes. I would love to re-home a snake but I just haven't got the room :/
You will need to search into quarterer though. It is such a nice thing for yu to do, I wish more people would rescuse snakes rather than trying to find new hatchlings.

Oh my... the rainbow boa on the RSPCA site... <3 and the cali kings...

I think I may end up rescuing snakes from there one day... if they make a reptile center closer to me ._.

A very special super, duper thanks for K :3
