Looking and thinking of puchasing one of these from ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LUCKY-REPTILE-THERMO-CONTROL-2-THERMOSTAT-NEW-FREE-P-P_W0QQitemZ150425905779QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Reptiles_Spiders_Insects?hash=item2306152a73
Has anyone on the forum bought or used one of these stats some advice greatly needed
Also have idea for a new section on the forum "product review guide" where members could post comments on equipment they have bought and used as to wether its good or bad.
I have noticed there is a link to retailers and shops but no guide for equipment.
thanks
Nick

I'm pretty sure there are a few people on the forum that use these stats and remember them saying they are great and that the thermometer on them is accurate to within .5 degrees.

Ohh looks nice and it's very sweet how it also acts as a thermometer. A product review guide somewhere would be an awesome idea.

i use these on all my vivs and my beardie incubator i found them to be very accurate, they also have a built in timer for lighting, they are really easy to use, but still to make sure your temps are really accurate throughout your viv is still advised to use 2 digi thermometers one hot and one cool end

dogs:1.1.0 cookie, scrappy
rabbit:0.1.0 bluebell
beardies:1.1.0 spike, sunshine
corns:1.0.0 sid

I use these stats for my corn snakes and I think they are brilliant. The timer is handy for controlling any lighting you have, the thermonitor display is handy and there is a alarm if the temps go out of a range you specify. Just wish there was a built in second thermonitor for the cool end but they only cost a couple of quid on ebay

This guy ius not doing these any more, though there is someone doing them for £27.99

Has anyone else noticed Argos have started doing an online range of viv's terraruims and mats etc, including this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8711353/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CSports+and+leisure%7C14419152/c_2/3%7C15701435%7CPet+supplies%7C14418785/c_3/4%7Ccat_14418785%7CSmall+pet+accessories%7C14418800.htm thermostat wonder if it is any good.

Is it me or does the bottom come out more than the top as well? It also doenst say if it is flat packed or ready made... if it's ready made it's actually a good deal but if it's flatpacked then no :/ No offence to Argos but I probably wouldn't trust them with electrical pet stuff. It doesn't even say the cmpany that make the heat mats and stuff so there's no way to tell if they are any good :/

I am very confused as to why they are selling hay though... I would never think of going to Argos to buy that.
