I know of jungle corns and creamsicle which are corn x king and rat snakes but have there been any other attempts such as hoggies, milk snake, thai beauty snakes and bull snakes/other simular sized species or are they total non starters if so what would be the reasons. i'm assuming bull snakes would be worse than a king regarding aggression. One of my kids asked earlier about jungles and it spiked my curiosity. not planning on hurling maizy in with a python don't worry lol

corns have been hybridized with pretty most all pantherophis species, and a lot of the pituophis and lampropeltis genus' too.

the problem with hybrids is you never know what to expect from the clutch, you could end up with half the clutch just looking like normal corns, which could potentially be sold on as normal corns and completely cock up somebody's breeding plans when a genetic throw back appears in the future

and what husbandry do you follow? what's correct for mum or what's correct for dad? though some hybrids are more established and keepers have worked out through trial and error which care methods suit them best

I was offered a "Rootbeer Corn" which is apparently a hybrid with a Rat snake according to Wikipaedia.

Not that I understand a word of this, but did a search on 'rootbeer' and according to GingerPony 'its the name of a hybrid, guttatta x emoryi' and according to Eeji 'its an evil hybrid'!!

i'd be tempted to treat a rootbeer just like a straight corn unless there's any problems or any further research throws up any specifics....

As above, its all rat, so no need to treat differently.
