I know this may seem a daft question but can any one tell me if grown on is due to a certain number of feeds given to a snake as it grows or is it just the general growth after it has hatched

The only way I've ever heard those two words together, "grown on" means that something has become a part of you. As an American we use that term as a means of saying something wasn't to your liking at first, but now you can't understand why it wasn't.

'Juvenile' can be used to describe anything younger than sexual maturity, when it the becomes 'Adult'
