i'm already on the kingsnake forum but as i am now the proud owner of a very lovely motley corn snake named Tommy thought i'd better introduce myself here too . we collected him today from a friend who needed to find a home for him but wanted him to go to someone she knew . we met at a retail outlet but when she opened the boot the viv door was slightly open and there was no Tommy anywhere almost 45 minutes of searching every crevice of the car and panicing he was found curled up behind the glove compartment around the wiring etc after a little gentle coaxing he was out totally unharmed and safely tucked away in a secure bag for his journey home although very worrying at the time and embarrasing for my friend it was also very funny just wish i had my camera with me at the time.
not very good pics will try and get more soon

Tommy looks lovely and I am so pleased that you managed to find him safe and sound....I do feel so sorry for your friend, she must have felt mortified when she opened the boot of the car and Tommy wasnt there! I am glad he is home and I am sure you know the ins and outs of snake keeping already, just as I am sure you already know a number of the forum members from the King Snake Forum.
You have already complied with the unwritten rule of the forum - pictures as soon as possible, so well done!
I look forward to getting to know you and Tommy better.
