Have you actually tried contacting http://www.vetsinvietnam.com/ and asking them for advice instead of just assuming that they wont help? I am afraid that I am finding it very difficult to continue trying to help when there seems to be no progress and now, supposedly, both snakes have escaped. If that is true then I would recommend that you do not get another snake as a pet as it is obviously too diffcult for you to care for them properly in your country, and if you cannot care for it properly then you should not have it at all.

I'm sorry you have had such a rough time with your snake suken, but I think you should maybe just call it quits now and get a different pet.

Oh my god, I've just read through this thread.
Sorry suken but I would give up on snakes if i were you. I have owned many pets and have found the corn snake to be the easiest pet to care for than any other animal. If you are going to get another pet please do lots of reaserch before taking the plunge.

I honestly can't see whats so hard.
Feed once a week
keep temps stable
spot clean
full clean out once a month
fresh water every day

EASY

Brads

Erm, I think pacman frogs are trickier to look after than corns...

I meant something like a hamster.

Dude, sorry I don't advise you to take on another pet, not least until you not only research it's care properly but check you can meet ALL of it's supplies/ needs from shops and suppliers? Even then I'd probably give it a miss if I were you. Its nice you want a pet and everything but I hope I'm not being offensive when I say that you don't seem to have the long term interest. You've just lost a snake (and your brother has) and your just thinking "oh well i'll erase that bad experience from my head by getting a frog". Maybe wait a year or two before making an "impulse buy" as these are living animals.
