Hiya,

I'm Lisa, I'm *mumble* years old, married, mum to 5 kids, lots of rats (bred for pet/show not food), great dane called Blu, bearded dragon called Neville and soon to be corn snake owner. I live with hubby and family/pets in West Yorkshire (over t'road from KathyM - hey oop missus!).

Hopefully getting my first corn snake very soon, extremely excited, wanted one since I was a teen (so many many MANY years).

Looking forward to reading lots here and shall no doubt bore you to death with pics of my pets at some point...

xx

Lisa and family (human and animal).

Well I know Kathy is LOL.

I didn't plan for 5 kids, I had 2 then another 3 sneaked up on me at once ;-)

They do that, just like buses. :)

Except smaller, the variance on the running cost are still questionable though.

I reckon three buses might make less noise/mess too. They're 7 in December, I'd say time flies but actually it's gone really reeeally slow!

Sorry.

You're still in the quick bit.

Welcome Lisa - you have found a fantastic forum here, with great experienced owners happy to share their advice and support. Friendship and fun are just added bonuses. 2 things to remember - pics are a requirement, as soon as possible, and no question is regarded as a silly question here...it is better asked and answered.
My mum and dad had 2 boys, then 13 years later decided they would try one more time to get a girl - instead they got 2 of us! Was a bit of a surprise, especially as they were living in West Africa at time so mum only found out she was having twins when she came back here 3 weeks before 'it' was due! xxx

Same happened with my mum too Kellog, she had 2 girls then tried for a boy and got me and Kathy. I should have known it'd happen to me too!

I'm glad you think pics are imperative, as I'm known on the rat forums for posting far too many of them! Fingers crossed our first snake is joining us tonight, but there wont be pics until she's settled in for a few days/week.

First question then - seeing as I'm a newb and can get away with looking a prat for a couple of days - how do you pronounce anery - is it "ann-ery" or "ain-ery"?

Hiya and welcome to the friendlist forum on the web

And it doesn't matter what your plans are. 1 Corn is NEVER enough, as you will find out.

You wont stick to one! I got Missy, and when i started handaling, it was great, but when she had been fed or was in shed I was lost, so I decided I NEEDED another one to fill in these gaps!! 3 months later we have number 2!
Oh and welcome to the mad house
