I know this may sound silly but empty out your viv, corn are good at hiding and burrowing!
If he is not there, put flour along the skirting boards and walls as they will not stray too far into the open. also search up high (boxes etc on shelves) as snakes can climb very well! continue putting traps down as corns are opportunistic feeders and will eat when possible. make sure and put a couple of dishes of water down too, so he doesnt get dehydrated.
good luck, I'm sure you will find him. |

just keep looking in all the unobvious places - inside stereos, around plug sockets - anywhere they can wrap themselves up and is warm.. maybe place the heat mat and faun/viv on the floor incase he does come back and decides to go back home |

It could be worth putting a trap or 2 out, but only put in a nice small meal.
Likewise if he fed 2 days ago, you may stand a chance of being able to smell the fresh poo sometime soon. If yours is anything like mine, they always poo 2 days afterwards.
Keep your nose clear, as well as eyes and ears open. Hope he turns up soon.

A vast amount that go missing do turn back up. Unfortunately a large amount do not. I'm sorry to say.
We've had members on here with snakes going missing for 8 months, then turning back up. 2 weeks, then getting found. Some as little as a few hours.
The person I got mine off had 1 go missing for 18 months nearly. Snakes can go a fair old distance and can also get into weird places.
Inside speakers, computers, on curtain poles etc. A favourite place seems to be inside sofas and other little dark hidey holes that are warm. I'd most certainly have a look between your TV and the wall. |

So sorry Bilbo...been away for few days and only just caught up with your news. Am assuming you have tried flour dusting in doorways? You could also turn heat down in most rooms and up in room you think he is in - should attract him back there if he has moved on. I can just imagine how upset your son is, I know how mine would feel. Do you know how he got out? xxx |
