What does your snake weigh, the food depends on the snakes weight. Here is a guide for you.
When they're on single pinks (2-3g), I feed every 5-6 days. (Snake = 4-15g) -Double pinks (3g x 2) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 16-23g) -Small fuzzies (5-7g) every 6-7 days. (Snake = 24-30g) -Regular fuzzies (7-9g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 30-50g) -Hoppers (9-12g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 51-90g) -Weaned (14-20g) every 7 days (Snake = 91-170g) -Adult (20-30g) every 7-x days (Snake = 170+) |

Snake go into hunting mode and look for anything when they are fed. I think its normal for them to look around for a while after they have been fed. Its just their natural way. |

Alice is about 700g and she gets an XL mouse every 10 days or so. This regime has kept her weight pretty constant over the last few months.

Kellog is the same as Alice, just over 700g. He is 4 years old and is being fed an XL/jumbo mouse every 10 days. Havent weighed him in last month but will be interested to see if he is still putting on as he has been on this level of feeding for a while.

at 18 months old he's still growing, it's healthier if they grow at a steady rate rather than being pumped full every meal. i'd stick to one mouse once a week for now........although mice sizes can vary hugely as different shops/companies grade them slightly differently..... |
