You just have to be wary, corns are opportunist feeders and they will eat and eat so its important not to overfeed them. |

Well put; in the wild they don't know when theyr'e going to slither into rats terroritory; so take what they can take!
I wouldn't worry about it, he will grow in time, just every snake is different. |

I think its because they have incredibly flexible tendons.they don't actually dislocate it. Although that might just be a different type of snake OR it might be a load of tosh. free to correction |

Ahhh, I was under the impression that they dislocate both the top and bottom of their jaw so the two can move independently. |

Snakes dont dis-locate their jaws at all, thats a total myth. They have one more bone than we do at the joint of their jaws which means they can open it wider. Their jaws are also not connected at the chin, so really the snake has 3 seperate jaw bones. |

hiper2009 i wouldnt worry too much about Champagne having a small head and neck , my corn tofu is about 3 years, she has a bigger body compared to her head and neck .. ive been told by a reptile specialist and an exotic vet that its perfectly healthy, she is just a bigger corn in general and i think thats the case with your Champagne
im guessing yu feed him a large mouse ? if so you could cut him down to just one large mouse per feed if yur worried hes a little chubby, cause it will help him lose a bit of weight if he needs too, and it dosesnt do um any harm either way .. i hope this helps |

So will his head grow bigger in a few years ?
Also if i cut his feed down to 1 mouse wont he be upset as hes been feeding on 1 mice and then when i bought him ive been feeding him 2 adult mice to fatten him up a lil bit, will this mess with his temperment in any way i dont want to stress him out in any kind of way
Yesterday we had fantasic weather and i took him to the park and then i took him in to town city centre and every one was taking pictures of him its like he was famous i could not belive it i thought every one will be scared i even let a few kids touch him and handle him so they are aware that there is nothing wrong with owning a snake. |

And that has got to be the most irresponsible thing I have heard in a long time.

If you want something to walk around with get a dog. Please please please dont fall into the "I got a snake so people think im cool" catagory.
What if it got away from you? Could you monitor its temperature when you were out? What if it scares someone when they hold it and they crush him? What if (yes, its a big if), people get ill after handling him? (salmonella) And with the snake things on the news at the moment I dont think its appropriate at all. |
