Just a thought - you said you watched the breeder popping her... thing is, you can reliably only pop very small hatchlings, in the first month or so. After that, the males would have developed enough muscle control to hold " the bits " in, so they will mostly falsely pop as females. To try and pop something that's 18 months old....hm.
She's a lovely girl, though, and whatever she is, I think you've got yourself a bargain. |

Well, sadly she didn't eat her hopper :o(
However, I think her age/food size is all wrong!
I weighed and measured her last night too (no mean feat I can tell you), she's only 46g/70cm, so I seriously doubt she's any kind of CB11!
I'm thinking more like a late CB12, seeing as my Archie (CB03/13) is 35g/54cm.
With this in mind, a small mouse, even a really small mouse would be a really inappropriately sized meal for her (which is what the breeder claimed she was eating) and even a hopper is a bit big. So, I'm going to leave her for today and try her on a Fluff tomorrow evening to see if she'd rather take that. If she doesn't, I'll pop her back on Reptoboost and try her again in a week.
Regarding the popping - I had no idea it was really only effective on hatchlings!
It could well turn out that Kyra is actually a boy, in that case!
Not that it would matter too much, it'd just mean I'd need to get another snake to balance things out ;o)
I'm still chuffed with Kyra regardless of morph or gender, I just hope that she calms down a bit and starts eating for me soon.

Kyra has finally eaten! Hurrah!!
I popped a fluff into her RUB last night and watched and waited hoping she'd come out and take it, but she didn't.
I went to run my bath and in the time it took me to rinse the bath and start to run it, she'd come out, taken the mouse and vanished again!
Cheeky girl! I'm thrilled she's finally eaten. |

| Glad she ate, when I first got my boy he wouldn't eat with anyone watching either, we all had to leave the room, then when we came back ten minutes later, he'd be looking all fat and pleased with himself :) He's getting more comfortable now though and is happy to eat with m watching provided I keep still and stay a couple of metres away from the viv. :) |

Archimedes is like that, if you watch him too closely while he eats, he'll drag his mouse off into his hide and then appear a few minutes later to show off his mousey lump lol |
