Just checked on Sid my corn snake that I've only has since Sunday, to find he has shed.
He has been hiding in the warm end hide for the last two days.
Checked the shed skin and I can see the tail is all intact but I'm not sure if the skin over the eyes has come off with it. The head end was turned inside out like when you take a sock off. Hope he shed ok.
Thought his colours were bright when I got him on Sunday but wow , he's super bright now!!
Going to bed tonight a happy Corn snake owner : )

So glad he has shed. Hopefully the caps have come off. Just keep an eye on him if youre unsure.
They are always so pretty after shed. Extra shiny!

Nice one, yeah they brighten up considerably after shedding lol :) Have you binned the shed or still got it? You can usually feel the eyecaps as they are quite hard, so may still be able to check the shed if you've still got it.

Still got it. I had a look last night but the head end was all rolled up like a sock.
I tried to pull it out but part of it ripped.
Difficult to see.
What do I need to look out for on the snake to see if the caps are still on him?

The eyes might look a bit cloudy, so hope it went all ok, what about the tail tip, was it on the shed?
