Hi as some of you may have read in an earlier post I had a piece of glass shatter in my brand new vivarium.
I gave up on the manufacturer and supplier and got a replacement piece of glass locally.
After waiting over a week for the glass to be toughened I finally got my glass back today.
Guess what, it's 4 mm too small.
Can't be asked to take it back so can anyone give me any ideas for putting something in the bottom runner to lift the glass up.
Thanks.

Is the runner firmly attached to the wood part of the viv? I would think it would be easier to add a little more underneath the runner than on top of it.

I could but the problem I've got is that the other piece of glass is a perfect fit.
If I fit something under the runner it would probably make the original piece too tight.

Problem solved. Put a strip of cardboard under the runner on the end with the smaller piece of glass. Now they both fit.

Hi Mark,

What vivarium is it? If its the lx35 glass I have a spare pane which I could send you if you pay postage.
