I bought the one from Ebay in the end. I messaged them regarding the wiring issue but after two hours no reply so just rewired it myself easy enough. They should of really sent me two brackets per Strip as that is even how they show you in the leaflet provided to set them up (2 brackets per strip) yet only provide 4 brackets for 4 strip lights.
suggest you still contact them even though you have fixed the wiring. You won't be entitled to a replacement but a polite message might win you some brownie points. Tell them about the 'missing' brackets and could you ask them if there is supposed to be 2 per strip for the other strip sets. (They also do a 6 strip set.) Hopefully you can cash in the brownie points for extra clips. I suspect that there has probably been a packing error.
You really need the 2 clips per strip. I had a set fitted temporarily with single clips and my Rat Snake managed to haul the lot down with an almighty clatter. It did nothing for the pulse rate.

I just took your advice and contacted them to see if i can get lucky with a free set of brackets, Fingers crossed. I was worried that one bracket setup might end up the same as yours did lol.
I had a double strip fitted at one point then changed it to the three but was being lazy about fitting the other clips. As always, better to do the job properly from the start.
Let us know what they say about the number of clips per set.

Just had a look at these eBay dioder lights and I don't think they are the same as the Ikea ones as the eBay advert states the light colour is white and the Ikea ones have multi-coloured LEDs. As you have just got a set are they multi-coloured or just white?
Hello Auld, I had a reply today apologizing for the mishap with the wiring and they told me they will ship me a bag of brackets today. good news all round!
