the temps are between 29.5 and 31.5 she is in a small rub with hides, water bowl ect...
Mod Edit: moved for you. More likely to stay at the top in the none photoy bit and your more likely to get answer in this section. |

Only thing to do really is get her to a vet if she is in a bad way. Your hot spot temp is fractionally cold, 32-35oC (I go for 32-33 though), If she was completely inverted including her head then its a vet trip all the way, if it was her body but the head was the right way up female royals do this when they ovulate (if I remember rightly) but its best to just have a vet look her over. |

Oh crap, I almost dont want to say this but cork screwing of the head sounds awfully like a symptom of IBD. Its a disease of Boas but Pythons can catch it and when they do its very quickly fatal. I hope to goodness that its not this but I think its something you will need to look up, there are youtube videos of the behaviour of Royals infected with IBD. I would push to get her to a vet ASAP as it potentially could be your whole boid collection at risk. |

fudge and double fudge (insert swears) ive just looked up IBD and alot of the symptoms fit, so work can sod off she going vets tommorow. im also really ****ed off with the local breeder i buy from, its seems like it comes from there as she keeps her pythons and boas on a racking system next to each other as i cant see were else its come from, which has put my whole collection at risk

I *think* from what I have read corns can carry it but it doens't effect them? All I know is that it takes ages for it to kill boas but effect pythons quickly. I am really sorry to hear that she is ill though, how long you had her? It may be worth contacting the breeder, I would hope that if it was IBD, that they would at least contact other people that they have sold to! In any case, good luck! |
A very special super, duper thanks for K :3 |

after buying many snakes off her some which came from lexcorn, which has been confirmed, most of them are very high quality (marley and bo are the offspring of snakes from lexcorn and are my prettiest by far) but for 2 incidents in a row to happen like this i question the husbandry greatly seeming more and more likely she breeds for money as she has recently sold 90% of her corn collection to sell high end royal morphs also dabbles with boas ect.. and the house has snakes in every room even the garage is converted to house reps |

So sorry for you and fingers crossed you get some better news when you go to the vets.
If the breeder is breeding to this extent is it not then being run as a business and could you maybe get legal advice on what action can be taken against this person. |
