Spencer has what can only be described as dry skin. It seems to be more on the front half of him and although hardly noticable I know its there and it shouldn't be. Was wondering if it could be humidity is to low as I do run a dehumnidfier upstairs at night, although all the others are fine. He is well in himself, eats, sheds complete, poos and is very active and not losing weight. Temps are 28c in the hot hide and room temp 20c in the cool end substarte is beech chip. Its not something that only happens when coming upto a shed although there is no sign of the dry skin for about a week after shedding but then its back again. Any ideas? I did wonder whether to give a moist hide to him permanently and increase the size of his water bowl.

hmmmm tricky one! You could increase the size of the water bowl.. thats a good idea I havent used a dehumidifier so I dunno if that could cause it. Can you get pics at all? Would be interesting to see xx

Yeah Spot is well scuffed up this month, he is constantly at the doors and throwing everything about in his vivs so he has bent scales and a scratch right across his eyecap. I can't wait for the period to be over for him, I feel very sorry for him and the state he's got himself into.

It seems to be on the top of him and it almost looks like he has individual stuck scales from a bad shed. Like the scales have started to come off but only half way. Its almost impossible to get a pic because I don't think my cheap camera would pick up on them. Alot of people probably would not even notice but I do. He was like this when I took him in and he was not at all active then.
