Hi, I fed shadow her first fluff last monday and she was digesting it fine, pooping fine then she regurgitated a very small amout of fluff, she almost digested it fully. I went to feed her another smaller fluff and she vomited the next day. I have moved her down to 2 pinks a weeks now but can any1 explain why she digested 90 percent of her 1st fluff then vomited? A bit of a long winded question lol

The colours will merge and there will be less contrast.

The reason for the second regurges is because the feed were to close together. You must leave your snake for 10 days, no feeding no hadling only change the water, cover the tank if you can.

Try her in 10 days on one pinky and if she keeps it down then mover her back to two and try her on a fluff in a couple of months. A lot of things can cause a regurge. There is a sticky on it in the health section. X

My little snake is roughly 6 months, and he's recovering from the regurge cycle. It's not fun but has to be done for the snake!

By some miracle, we managed to maintain the same weight, and it's slowly coming back now, but he's still on one pink a week for the next feed before we reduce it to five days.

Just wait 10-14 days, no handling or anything as Georgina said, and what really worked for me was not going anywhere near the snake until two, or maybe three days after feeding! Good luck!

Hi same thing with Cola. She regurged twice when put her on fluffs. She is also 8 months old. Asked on here and was told to leave her on pinks till she is around the 25 gram mark. So thats hat i am doing. As for the colour Cola is also a carolina and as for the colour she has changed so much in 5 months from really dark to much brighter and some orange coming through.

I had a similar event recently and it was just the fur of the fluff that was regurged, maybe yours was the same. Here is the link to that post I put on

http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22951

I left for 10 days and fed a pinkie and it stayed down and she has had her first fluff again on Monday, so far so good as it has not come back up yet, fingers crossed.

Without the stomach acids replenished it just creates a cycle they use the acids basically to breakdown all the fat and muscle in the mice andpoopout the bad bits such as fur and teeth.
We they regurge they bring all these acids up along with the food.
I wouldn't worry about snakey not eating they can go months without feeding you can leave longer than 10 days but 10 is the absolute minimum.
