I know this might sound odd but is it wrong to get my snake out whilst its hiding? I get him from his hide and he stays coiled up for a few mins then realises he's out and then does his snaky thing and seems happy enough trying to get up my sleeve or taking a drink etc. Since handling he doesn't roam his viv much (well when we are around). So is getting him out from when he is hiding ok? Or should I only really do it when he is roaming around?

You try catching them if they aren't hiding! Its fine, they'd let you know if it wasn't.

If I waited until they were out around their viv I would be grey haired, wrinkly and have a walking stick before the first hold lol. All of mine get taken from under their hides and they are all fine with it.
