OK so this is part good news part bad news. My roaches are breeding which is the good news but I found an abandoned and dried out egg sac which is a shame. Wondered what on earth it was at first. The eggs weren't developed at all.

Anyone had any experience of this?

I did a while back, it was where I forgot about a test colony and the roachs were at a point where they had eaten close to half an egg-box.
I've also seen egg-sacs dropped when it's been nice and warm in the colony and I've accidently pressed one of them a bit hard when trying to fish some out.

Random question though, what's your female/male ratio??

3 males to 5 females. I intend to up to 10 females soon though. These are a tiny test colony. The smaller ones are all doing well too and I've had one successful lot of babies.
