I got myself some specific reptile cleaning spray (claims to kill Salmonella etc) - i understand that a 10% bleach/water solution can be used, but that if you go down this route you'll need to ensure no residue is left behind |

I found some reptile cleaner spray at my local pets at home, and I use that for my cleaning. It says "BEAPHAR- Deep Clean, Longer Lasting Disinfectant" tells me its highly effective verses salmonella, no dyes, no smell and that its safe for all reptile and amphibian housing. Also its got a picture of a beardie on the front, so it makes me happy :) |

Detol surface spray or wipes! ''Safe to use where food is prepared'' so i figure its fine. |

Resin hides and water dishes get the eeji treatment. Left to dry overnight after a good rinse. |

I'm actually thinking about investing in something like a Polti steam cleaner to be honest. No need to buy any products then, plus absolutely no chemicals to worry about.
Plus it can be used for other household tasks, everyone's a winner |

like the steam clean idea b-cat. watch out for laminated vivs though....if the steam gets under the plastic laminate it will blow the chipboard. i use hot, hot, hot water (careful kids)....then pro-rep viv clean....leave 5 mins then rinse off with cold water. |
