I found out my local reptile shop had some pewter corn babies in and ever since I got my first corn in April, I've said I would really like a pewter or charcoal corn snake.

So I said to my other half, could we just go for a look please, I'd love to see one that's not just a picture. It'll be safe coz We can't buy anything because we don't get paid til Thursday.

How wrong I was! I now realise you can't ever just go and look!

We have put a deposit down to collect next weekend

So excited!!!!!!!

its not safe going into rep shops - my 11 year old has to really restrain me from buying anything else, however i will get more..........................

The phrase 'just going for a look' is always famous last words. I remember saying the exact same thing the day I brought Barnaby home. Lol.

Haha I know this feeling, went for a "look" around a few shops a few weeks ago and saw a pewter and was so close to bringing him home it was scary, gorgeous snakes congrats :-)

Ooh,a pewter. Congrats,they are beautiful (I'm biased of course)
I actually went a pet shop "just for a look" on Monday and I did actually come home empty handed.....only to find what I want in the classified section lol!
