Well, I didnt last long before I got another snake, did I?? Just got a lovely 2yr old male Kenyan Sand Boa. He is so cute, like a fat, little sausage with eyes!LOL As soon as he got in his viv he did several laps and has now settled down under the substrate with his head poking out... Im def in love with the ickle snakes.. |

Snakes are indeed addictive, my 2nd snake will be next month, she says hopefully lol |
Dakota ~ Bloodred Corn ~ Amber & Chloe ~ Cats Mind is changing on snakes I want now lol so am researching these to find out what would be best - Milk Snakes and Dwarf Boa possibly - Crawl Cay, Sonoran, Tarahumara or Vera Cruz and poss a Hoggie, African House and Rat snake. Also Trinket Snakes. |

Ive called him Kushti! Sand Boas generally like it hotter then corns (35C hot and 25C cool end) but dont need hides coz they live burrowed under sand in the wild. So he has about 3-4ins of aspen to tunnel around in and a couple of cork bark pieces in case he fancies hiding.. They are very diddy though, Kushti is only about 18ins and fully grown.. |
