This was a while ago now, but it really freaked me out at the time.

We had just moved her up onto slightly larger mice, turns out we had been feeding her fuzzies for too long.
She ate the bigger mouse quickly and seemed fine, until she came to the front of her viv to have a drink.
As she lifted her head i saw that her neck (if thats the right word lol) was all... sucked in. Thats the best way to describe it.
It was like i could see her ribcage, and all her scales were pulled really close in. she looked almost flat in the middle and i spent the rest of the night just watching her in tears.
I thought she was going to die of suffocation or something.
She kept open her mouth like she was trying to put her jaw back in and vibrating her head in a really strange way.
I checked her the next morning and her neck was perfectly normal again.

If anyone has any explanation for this i'd love to hear it.

Skanes are so otherworldly, i'll never be able to understand them, I think that's why they are so amazing.

only thing i can think of to explain it is maybe some soft tissue got pulled down with the mouse, hence the taut, flattened appearance that quickly resolved itself overnight
