Hi everyone, I finally got my baby corn on Sunday. He is a 2 month old anery - a very beautiful black and silver colour. I know that it is probably nothing to worry about but I would like reassurance. Since we got him we have not seen him move from his cool end hide at all. He is in a faunarium with identical hides at each end. I was advised by the shop not to attempt to feed him for a week so I was thinking of trying at the weekend. How likely, given his age, is he to be in shed. If very likely, is there any point in trying a feed yet?

By the way he is called Squiggle!

1 anery corn snake
2 dogs
4 rescue rabbits
6 gerbils
1 leopard gecko
1 bearded dragon
1 garter snake

Can I ask how your are reading the temps as thats as high as you want to get really. Do you have a digital thermometer? Do you have a thermostat?

Reason I ask is because if the warm end is getting too hot the snake may not use it. Also you need to make sure your temps are correct before you feed your snake.

He could be in shed or just settling in still but best to make sure your temps are correct so you can rule out problems there
