Snakes are opportunist feeders so it's quite normal for them to look for more!
As long as the meal leaves a bump then it's enough until next time he's due.
He will probably hide away now for a couple of days to digest his meal.
I wouldn't offer more food until the next feed.

My snakes hide for 2-3 days after a feed but will whizz around for a few hours after a feed to find a good spot to bed down and digest.

My ultimate snake is a Green Tree Python. I should have one by the summer. They are not for handling though when they are little, they have a right reputation for been super aggresive too, that just makes them more appealing to me, not that i fancy getting bitten by one any time soon. I have a love for the European Adder too, our only venomous snake, I have been bitten by one of those though as a child, made a right mess of my leg, would love to find a captive bred one though.

I love all kinds of snakes, my favourite would probably be the Burmese Python although I'll never own one of those beautys! Currently negotiating for a boa with my OH, luckily he spotted a BRB yesterday and has decided our life will be incomplete without one! lol
