Might be fine? if she hasnt laid the eggs then she is not fine!!! I assume you have done what was recomended and given her a lay box so she has somewhere to lay the eggs???? vets bills arent to be worried about now, just make sure you take her as soon as possible. |

Moving around all day does suggest looking for somewhere to lay to me. If you haven't already a box with a hole in the top with some vermiculite or damp moss or even damp paper towel in it needs to be put in for her.
As Mike says, might be fine is burying your head in the sand, she is gravid, she will have more eggs to come, she needs somewhere to lay them and may need to see a vet if she hasn't laid them in (Mike, insert a timescale). The alternative is she becomes egg bound and DIES. |

The way to tell if she is egg bound is only getting one egg out of her, they don't carry just the one (at least I don't think they do). IF you don't see any eggie progress over night, I really would just ring the vets first thing and get her in for a checkup, they will be able to examine her safely and even do an egg count, I've seen it done but its a delicate procedure so won't be explaining how on here. |

ok would the snake have bumps in there body if she is eggbound because the eggs would still be in there body wouldnt they so my snake is moving around drinking and playing on the branches. If she was ill she would be slowly dieing in a corner. (not trying to be rude lolz) |

yeah ok. I didnt make this all up. You wanna play silly buggers with the snakes life then you carry on. Having bumps in the body is all well and good, but if its a good size then no, there wont be bumps because the eggs are soft and the body size will cover them. Playing???? snakes dont play, how do you know she isnt using the branch to try and move the eggs???? you dont! Drinking, i am pretty sure that anyone in the hospital about to die would have a drink if they were thirsty. Snakes dont sit in the corner and slowly die, they quite often dont give you any indication that they are on the way out.
you can choose to ignore the advice i have given you, but if you come back and say that she has died, i promise you, i will get myself banned for what i say. |

Look at the end of the day you could at least phone a reptile vet and ASK their proffesional opinion, a phone call will cost you nothing. Experience people on here have offered you their advice on past knowledge and experiences. I for 1 would be straight on the blower booking an appointment. I can only assume that you are concerned about the Vet fee's. If this is the case call your vet if they think it is cause for concern tell them that you do not have the money for treatment, no vet is going to let your snake suffer, and yes if the crunch comes to the crunch you may have to surender your snake to the RSPCA so they can have it treated. Just pick up the phone and do the right thing by your snake. A phone call will cost you nothing... |

DONT FEED HER!!!!
She is going to the vets in the morning, they will be examining her and a digesting mouse is only going to hinder the examination not to mention cause real problems with a very real chance of a regurge. Leave her empty, that way the vet will know what he is feeling is eggs and not mouse. |
