All depends what type of snake are you putting in there?

Plantation soil is used for high humidity dependant reptiles as it holds in moisture and stays damp (I was usuing it for my brb but not now)

Not heard of it being used (dry) for corns before, if thats what your planning on.

What snake is it for? Most snakes do fine on aspen if they don't need any special humidity. I have a big bag that is 20kg and several 4ft vivs and it will last for about half a year.

If you have a house shop near you, aubiose will be fine. If they don't have it, don't let them talk you into buying anything else there as it maybe unsafe for snakes and just stick with aspen you buy at a petshop or something. What size corn were you getting?

its a 4ft fish tank made by jewel /9probably shouldve sed that before) and the idea of useing fauns to keep them in the tank with is so that i dont really need to spend a fortune on setting up 2 fauns completely, just set up the tank and put the 2 fauns in it with just substrate and hides in it
