Lola was fed yesterday morning, and still has a lovely bump.

I just wanna know really when it's 'safe' to hold her. I know it's couple of days, but do I need to wait til she's looking a little slimmer. Last thing I want her to do it bring it back up.

Thanks in advance!,

Its very common to be fully digested and pooped out 2 days after feeding, so 48 hours is normally fine, if they eat something a bit bigger then it might take an extra day. I personally wait until Spot has pooped before handling because he is like clock work, if you handle before they poo its likely the combination of excercise and warm hands will result in a brown pile in your hand.

As above, I always wait until Noodles pooped just so I don't get a nasty little present!

I wait the full 48 hours with mine. If you think there is still quite a bump I'd leave it longer until it gone.
