we pick her up tomorrow morning.

she is currently being fed 1/2 fuzzies every 10 days.

can I make it every 7 days or should we stick to 10 what she is used to?

also, do we leave handling her for 24 hours after feeding to digest or leave 48 hours?

i think it depends on the age/size of the snake

and u should always leave them be for 48 hours before handling otherwise they can regurge.

Remember that most pet stores, and some breeders, will give the minimum necessary to keep costs down. For a hatchling most of us on here tend to go with feeding every 5-7 days. I personally wouldn't leave a young snake more than 7 days between feeds. For a wee snake on fuzzies I'd probably feed every 7 days.

Aww, well you know if you ever have any problems you will have the forum, most people on here are purely here to help each other out and chat about the animals and are really truly lovely. Im sure you will have so much fun with your new little snake. :) Good luck with trying to control the obsession!

Im afraid its unlikely to find someone with a single snake unless they have only had it a short while! :P Im sure you will be getting your second before much longer! xD

My hubby didn't want me to have any snakes at all but he 'gave in' and now we have 5! I'm in the process of getting rid of some old furniture so I can get more wall space for more vivs.....oh, and somewhere to put the flexarium I've just got for a chameleon!!

If you do go for another one (which no doubt you will) why not try rehoming/rescue? There are loads of snakes out there that need new homes and its worth having a look on sites like preloved before buying another corn. I rescued one of mine Xena and she was in a bit of a sorry state when i got her and its been very rewarding bringing her back to full health.
