C'mon then gardeners; can anyone have a bash at ID'ing these?

Tree number 1;

Trunk;

Leaves with wierd.. eggs?? on;

Tree 2 was one of those 'trees' with loads of small trunks, like a big bush

any ideas whether these are safe or not? Regarding I strip the bark in some places, bleach in 5:95% soloution, rinse and bake??

First one looks like some kind of sycamore, or possibly a poplar.
The second is one we have in our garden and from recollection was a 'brindle' or something like that.

I know nothing about trees Hillzi, but just for you I will brave the OH's wrath, mention the forum and show him the pics....he should be able to tell you what they are as he is great at that sort of thing, as long as the pics tell him enough to identify them.

Will get back to you.
