Oh that's really something....I'd love to see it happening in real life. It must be so amazing to watch such a tiny wee snake come into the world.

Thank you so much for posting this pic Mike....it is amazing for those of us who have never seen a hatching before (and probably never will).

So tiny and yet so perfectly formed.

Hope all the others hatch successfully....not knowing about these things, as one has hatched this morning at 7am and another is on the way, does this mean all the others should hatch on the same day?

xxx

Are you using perlite?
If so is it any good? I've looked at it before but was unsure.

Phil, we started to use perlite for the Geckos because they were moulding so much, it does seem to be better than the verm, and a lot cleaner too.
The Ghost eggs (these ones) started off on verm, but i didnt like it so much as the perlite, and they were in a tub too small for all the babies, so i moved them into a bigger tub with perlite.
I got mine from B+Q, about 3 quid for a medium bag, thats gonna do me for a while now i think, i will re use it too for next year, just let it dry out then re weigh it and wet it.

I dont actually know what that baby is, its not what i was expecting thats for sure!
I was expecting hypos and ghosts, and that is neither!
Anyone know??

Thanks for sharing these Mike. I feel all excited like they are a member of my family. Gorgeous and sooooooooo cute.

I'm not sure what that little baby is but it is stunning. Could there be some bloodred in there? I'm useless with morphs but I want it whatever it is

Cheers, hypo would make sense, the black is starting to come through now, when I took the pic there was almost no black visible, am sure it will darken up over the next day or so.
