So my family and friends have started up predictions on when Williams going to make an appearance. I'm due on Saturday according to dating scan, been having contractions every 20 minutes for 5 days now, mum thinks its just braxton hicks, sister in law thinks I'm in slow labour lol (She was nice enough to point out she had a friend go through same thing for 4 weeks before she finally had her baby! D:). Anyway, they;ve started predicting when baby will come, my friend Jordan started it off. Here's what we got so far lol
Jordan: Today, Thursday 10th.
Akira: Tomorrow, Friday 11th.
Sister in law: Monday, 14th.
Mum: original due date, Wednesday 16th.
Anyone else want to hazzard a guess lol
Midwife saw me last week told me baby was engaged and it was all up to me now, told her if it was up to me he'd have been out a week ago lmao XD |

| Hahaha I keep telling mum to squeeze me like toothpaste and get him out. Least my brothers put my bed up for me now so I'm not struggling like a turtle on its back every morning to get up xD |

I am afraid I tend to agree with Herriotfan....no matter how much you want him out (and my daughter was 10 days late so I know what it is like just wanting that baby out of you  !!), he is actually in the safest place at the moment and will come out when it is time for him to come out and not a moment sooner....especially as he is male and will do things his way and not yours  !!

| I know that, but I see no harm in distracting myself from the discomfort with a bit of guessing fun lol Omg uncomfortable today, didn't wanna wake up but need to unlock door for mum and stick some washing on xD Mum was doing night shift in the local hospital, not the one I'm going to have baby in, so she kept asking me all evening if I was ok and was sure it was ok for her to go in lol |

Oh Twi, I wasn't getting at you...of course it's fun betting on dates for the birth. I'm sure all us mums have done it! I know what it's like waiting for that baby you've been carrying forever to arrive.....our Kevin was 3 weeks late  oh boy was that a long 3 weeks! Beached whale seemed an easy option!!!!
Are you settled in now? Bet all the family are looking forward to meeting William in his new home. Good luck. Hope he won't keep you waiting much longer...... |

lol we were moving everything in tuesday (Well i was pointing and shouting orders while everyone else was moving) and my aunt kept stopping to wobble my belly and tell him to come out already cause she wants to meet him haha, she's even given me orders to phone her when I go into the hospital so if she's not working she can come as soon as she can to see him. We've got everything in the house now, just needs organizing, kitchens a tip cause we cant pack anything cause they coming on tuesday to put in a new one. but i been slowly going through boxes upstairs. I'm not doign much today though, every time i get up and start moving cramping gets worse @.@ really uncomfortable today. Lol making me snappy, mum came home from night shift so shes snappy so we spent 30 minutes snapping at each other before she asked if i was ok then went to bed lol
It's exciting that could be soon meeting him :3 can't wait, keep going through hospital bag to make sure I have everything :D Moses baskets set up next to bed \o/ Cats are banned from my bedroom so they dont sleep in it lol If I havent had him by monday midwifes coming to set a induction date so most i should go is 10 days late hopefully lol I keep forgetting I'm so big and standing too close to doors when i open them lmao you'd think i'd be used to it by now xD |

I bet you get a wet belly when you wash up too!!!! You forget how much extra room you need in front don't you. It will seem quite strange when you've first had him. Your legs will look so long. You'll be able to lay on your tummy. Your cats will have room to snuggle on a lap. Your tummy will feel all squidgy to the touch instead of rock hard. Etc, etc....
Then come all the post-natal joys........ that's another story.
We will all want to meet William, via photos, of course. Give him a poke and tell him to hurry up!!! |

| just seen midwidwife, I'm 1-2 cm dilated 50% effaced, she says im in slow part of labour once i hit 3cm it should kick things off properly. If he isn't here by next wednesday I go in to be enduced, but she says she doesnt want me to wait till contractions are close together cause of heart problem, she wants me to go in soon as the contractions are regular. |
