I bought some pinkies for my recently hatched Hatchlings a few days ago and i chose the smallest ones but they still look too big, any suggestions on what i could do?

TBH they should be fine if they are small pinks. you could try the thick part of a rat tail chopped to length. (you would have to buy alot of adult rats though lol)

eeewwwwww i can deal with frozen rodents that i just defrost n dangle, job done but chopping up a big yucky tail, omg im squirmimg just thinking about it lol
think thats a job for my bf lol

i know you usually get 1 runt with cats n dogs but not sure with snakes

like tiny hatchlings not very long in length & overall smaller.

I guess it's hard to tell if you have nothing to compare to sorry.

I think you will be surprised at what a baby corn snake can handle if you're worried about the size of the pinkys.

they're about the thicknest of a pencil at they're thickest part but they're necks seem soo teeny. I'll try feeding tomorrow thanx

That will stretch & the shape of the baby will not be dis-similar to an adult if you have a look at body shape. The baby has a larger head in proportion to it body though. (or is it an adult has a smaller head lol). Anyway, the neck of an adult corn, just behind the head is thinner than the middle of the snake. They eat adult mice ok.

Yeah, Dusk was like a shoelace when I got him and the pinkies looked huge in comparison but he wolfed them down just fine.

they cant choke as they have a 'tube' to breathe through which is designed specifically for when they have whole prey in their mouths & are swallowing.

Otherwise they would all choke to death & would be in the list of 'flanimals' by ricky gervais lol.
