Just a quicky here, is it essential to have a stat on my heat mat? The temp at the moment is 84f or 30c (think thats the right way around). Is that too high, too low, spot on? Just wanted to check because i dont want Angelina getting too hot under the collar

Thanks

30C is spot on, but the stat would stop it overheating and harming your snake.

Ok, so ive been looking at stats on 888reptiles but theres loads, lol! If i just wanted to keep a constant temp then would a normal stat (http://www.888reptiles.co.uk/productdetails.php?productid=7463&productname=MAT STAT) be alright?

Thanks in advance

A mat stat would be fine, I picked one up on ebay for <£20.

How are you checking the temperature?

Where is the heat mat?

Where is the thermostat probe?
