Kings or milks are good options because they are similar to corns care wise. They are just a bit bulkier and more feisty |

Lots of people on here have Royals (including me!) I've found they're lovely snakes but can be hard to get feeding and don't appreciate a lot of handling - a sweeping generalisation but I'm sure many would agree! |

Kings can be grumpy and Royals can been pains to feed, but both are good snakes |

i`ve got both, kings can be a bit waspie and milks can be shy, but out of the two i would go for a king, cause you can calm a snake easier than you can cure ones shyness |

My second snake is a Cali King and I have to say he is FANTASTIC Much more lively than my Corn, but less flighty, dosn't try to speed off all the time! He is inquisitive, always on the roam in his viv. Not in the least bit aggressive. But some can be, I may just be lucky He is the only King that has not tried attacking the guy in the pet shop (he says Kings hate him!). Care wise they are almost the same as Corns. They are hardy snakes so quite forgiving.
This may sound like sacrilege on this site, but I think I actually prefer Kings to Corns because they are just that bit more fiesty

I keep a low profile on there, but I do find it useful though. Of course it's not as friendly as this site...I know where my loyalties lie! And my signature may attract a few new members to this site |

thanks for all the advice i worked in a pet shop briefly and also found that kings can be aggressive but to be honest that doesnt bother me as much as shyness like saddleninja said. so far i am swaying toward a king |

I certainly do... it makes up for my not-so-good looks |
