Just opened Harry`s viv as he was up and he was going absolutley crazy in the corner curling up flipping himself and rattling his tail and everything !
When i have looked closer his head was stuck to the black insulation tape that i used to stick up the back display i rushed in there and held him whilst my bird cut out around him then rushed him in to the bathroom and soaked it with water and gentley got it off
there were 2 small scales on the tape, he was well stressed
I have removed all the surrounding tape now and gave him a cuddle and put him back he seems ok but did have me worried, i think he was there about 1/2 anhour
lesson to be learned here. No Tape in vivs |

poor Harry, least you noticed and rescued him and he's ok
if anyone does need to stick something in their viv low-tack masking tape is best, not the cheap stuff though, it's well sticky! |

I had a dial thermometer that my royal managed to unstick from the viv & it had become stuck to his head ! Had to use cotton buds with water to work it off. I did panic.

Glad he is recovering. Lesson for us all as you say, adhesive tape and snakes do not mix! |
