Ok, I've had my Hondurian Milk Snake Tartan since last august, and she's never bitten me. A few days ago, i got back from holiday on feeding day, and she bit my knuckle, which i put down to hunger and stress.

But just now i cleaned her out and kept her out for a cuddle, and she just wrapped round my wrist, nosed my hand and chomped straight down onto my hand, leaving about 10 seperate puncture wounds. Got her off ok and shes back in there lookin evil. But she's normally a really good natured snake and has never showed signs of aggretion, so is it just cause its hot and summer and shes hugnry more, or what?

please help, it hurts and it's stil bleeding lol

try feeding 2-3 mice weekly. it would likely be hunger like she wants more as her appetite is not satisfied. I don't think it's aggression.

Someone else said they got attacked out of the blue earlier this week. Maybe it's a conspiracy! The snakes are fighting back against their captors. Beware all!!!

AGHHHH! it's getting redliculous now. I fed her 4 medium mice about 2 days ago, and i still cnat go anywhere near her without her striking at me! Seriously, I'm not doing anything differnet, but it's like she scared or angry at me.

What can bring o na sudden mood change?

Thanks x

its sounds hard but when she bites you dont put here straight back in the viv cos she'll then realise that if she bites she gets left alone and may bite more

agh ffs. i went to get her out, i touched her once, in her vision so i didn't scare her, and she almost nailed me. it's like she's become completely physco atthe sight of me. it's really upsetting cause not 2 weeks ago she was happily sitting around my neck

maybe she's ill or something?

You're making sure you wash your hands after handling the food, right? If not, make sure you do, 'cause she's probably smelling it on you. >w<

I hope she stops biting you soon. ):

Also, if you're trying to pick her up after she's been asleep or something, let her wake up and look around a bit first.
I'm not sure what else to suggest, I'm sure everyone else on here knows more about it. xD
