My dad owns corn snakes, amongst others, and i was thinking of getting something for them for fatehrs day, instead of the usual socks and cds :P
He obviously has the necessary basics- heat, wood shavings, water, etc. But is there anything else that they could do with? Or good books on them? Its just an idea, wish he had easier hobbies :P Climbing, cycling and snakes don't leave much open lol

How about a hide for the snakes? they can really make a viv look great.

Hey, sorry for bumping an old thread, but just wanted to update and give thanks.
To begin with, my dad didn;t seem too impressed, even less so when none of them went into the hide (he has 2 or 3 corn snakes in a tank, theyve lived together for ages happily now :)) but...he told me the other day, that the pregnant one has gone inside, which is great because the moss will keep her damp, whereas in the past her eggs have dried before my dads found them. *fingers crossed*!! So, id just like to say thank you for the interesting and very useful father's day idea :)

Aw, that's great Genie! :3

Tch, he should be grateful. It's the thought that counts. xP

I'm glad the moss one turned out useful though. =P
