Yeah; its worth plonking them in an ice cream tub or something with a lid and air holes to assure no digestion of substrate

I advise against feeding in viv, they will think everything going in there is din dins (including fingers)

But if you have a non feeder; then feeding in the viv would be a good turn, either place a big feeding dish in there or use kitchen roll as substrate.

Putting your snakes fave hide in the feeding box can work well for a reluctant feeder, as they have the option to hide and feel safe. Then put the prey item just outside the hide door. If it works, then no more feeding in the viv.
