lol. Well, if you have lots of them (ie. a group of hatchlings just hatched) then you can buy longer heat mats that you place all or several of the tubs over. If you have just one, then i would just put half on a heat mat like normal. Is that what you meant? |

ah ok. What i did, reccomended by the reptile shop, was buy the large viv (eg. 36" x 15" x 15") and put the smaller RUB inside the viv, with the heatmat. This means when you feel the snake is long enough to go into the larger viv, he can move straight in. This is obviously more expensive now, but it also means that all you will need to buy for the rest of its life, will be food and bedding(and perhaps large hides). Does that make sense? It is up to you though. |

I'd get round there early if they are all the some colour and let the snake choose you. Have the one that comes to you. |

awww, that sucks. Aparrently mum had a nightmare that my snakey ate my sis' hamster last night and was screaming. Made me laugh, but mum wasnt too happy.
Tell her you will get a cage lock (are like £3 from ebay) and only get him/her out when your door is shut and there are not cats in the room.
By the time is is around 1, i dont think that cats will be a threat to it any more! |
