I'm getting a corn snake very soon and i have a 27"x15" vivarium! The snake I'm getting is about 2 months old! How old do you think the snake will be before I need to get a bigger viv?

that should last upto about 3.5',i would keep the snake in a rub inthe viv for a while as it's a bit big for a young snake or you could put a partition in and remove it again when the snake older.

probarbly think about getting a larger tank (say about 36" X 15" X 15") probarbly when it grows to around te length, maybe a few inches longer, that the tank you have at the moment

As Lee says, that will be ok until he is about 3 1/2 foot. But for now that is way too big for it. You could put it in a faun for now. My Sully is 8 months old and in a faun.

agree with Lee put her in a rub inside the viv.

it can freak a snake out if it goes in to big a viv right off..

I had my conr in a 9L rub for a while till she was longer than it.

Now she is in a faunarium...and doing really good, but knowing how shy she was, if i had put her in anything bigger, she would have stopped feeding...

If snakes get freaked with large enclosures why did my Tom carry on going when he opened the viv door, he could have just turned around and closed the door again :)
