For the last few days I've found Marmite sitting out in the open sleeping on his water bowl. He shed a few weeks ago and is 90% of the time until now either on his ledge, in the warm corner, in his log or trying to escape out the glass at the front.

Any logical reason for the sudden change, to hot perhaps?

Get a bigger water bowl he can fit in?

Always promoting the lasagne dishes... you own a company that makes them by any chance?

mites would be the first thing i'd check for, and make sure all his hides are the right size and have plenty of decor/foliage around the cave/hide entrance so it's nice and secluded.

Well, this behavior seemed to stop after posting this but checked everything anyway, temps are 20 on the cold end and 30 on the hot and there couldn't be more foliage in there if I tried... I now have a water bowl the size of a small swimming pool I can squeeze in...

Or, depending on the size of the viv, I've put an old washing machine door in mine in the past.
