Cheers Mick

Well adults are alot more Calmer that Hatchlings, they tend to be more skittish and flighty, but id start off with a couple of mins twice a day then work it upto 5mins and so on so on, Noodle is soo tame now i hold ihm for about half an hour twice a day usually Its also good exercise for them. Hope this helped |

Also, remember don't handle your snake for a couple of days after a feed. Handling soon after feeding can lead to regurgitation.
1 other thing...... Snakes defecate approximately 4-5 days after feeding. Be cautious handling during this time if you don't want to end up being pooped on |

they all have their own personalities, although corns as a species are pretty amenable and easy to handle. some will tolerate more handling than others. some just take longer to get used to the idea, and for some regular handling might always be a bit tense.
with the most amenable corn the main concern is it losing body heat if it's away from it's heat source, smaller ones like hatchlings will cool down faster than, for example, a 700g adult, it depends how warm the room is where you're handling the snake, and if it's in contact with your body heat or just the heat from your extremities ie. fingers/hands (which won't be as warm) |

Another point, always have them supported and near you, so they feel secure |

Oh it'll happen! They go very still while they're squeezing one out; that's about the only warning you get i've found... |

I had a lucky escape. When i first help Sabin he went still and and i thought he was just scooping things out, but i noticed his body moving quite alot so i put him over a empty tub i had at hand and he poo'd in that. It was a close call. Now i keep an eye out for those movements when i hold him/her. |
